The Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House provides families of sick children with a home to stay at while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital. The Red Deer Regional Hospital has 33,000 pediatric stays per year, with one third of them being from out of town. With 30 out of town patients per day at the hospital, there is a great need for Red Deer’s Ronald McDonald House to provide housing for their families.

At a very stressful time in a family’s life, Novamen employees step up to help ease the burden in a very practical way. They volunteer one evening every month to plan, shop for, and prepare a healthy, nutritious meal for the children and their families.
