NovaMax BWD is a non-toxic belt wetting anti-freeze/deicing compound developed by Novamen. The material is safe to handle, non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-corrosive, safe on belts and fully compatible with other belt wetting fluids such as potassium acetate, ethylene and propylene glycol. The product has been freeze tested for stability, and the fluid retains a low viscosity even at -40º C.
